Cheko Salaam “Die A Tribe no. 1” [Video]

Water is the blood of the earth. All revolutions need water, like they need courage and love. Degradation of nature, no matter the degree, is irresponsible and it is up to all of us to manage ourselves to change it. Decolonize our knowledge and do away with capitalist domination. Back to Indigenous Incursions. This is the first in a series of poetic diatribes calling on us to decolonize our minds, our homes, our hearts and our communities. With that being said check out “Die A Tribe no. 1” from Ottawa artist Cheko Salaam. The video was shot by Rana Nazzal.

Death Bed “Lampman” [Video]

Canadian Hip Hop Artist Lampman just released the incredibly raw new video for the opening track off his new album “The Something Sacrifice”. Filmed in Hamilton at the Devils Punch Bowl an area with alot of urban legends in its past and it seems like the energy crawled out from the darkness for this visual. Lampman depicts waking up off of his “Death Bed” an analogy for his 2 year hiatus. Directed by Steve Whitaker From Flick On Media he gives a cinematic feel at the beginning before Lampman finally says Aeterum Vale death latin for Farewell Forever.
