Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Fatty Soprano is one of the most promising emcees to emerge from Canada’s music scene in years. In 2011, he released two singles, “Homeless” and “Just a Touch,” both of which were featured on MTV and MTV.com. In 2012, he released a video for “The Finale” single and the track “Groupie Girl” featuring Gudda Gudda which was premiered exclusively on Young Money’s official website. In June of 2012 Soprano will drop a mixtape, C.N.A.D (Canadian Nightmare American Dream), which features French Montana, Gudda Gudda (from Young Money), Bizarre (from D12), Bishop Brigante and many more. He’s wrapping up his debut EP, “Breaking Bad”, which he will release independently this fall. Soprano knows he’s chosen an industry where the competition is fierce and the norm is an industry shuffle not for the faint of heart, but he’s undeterred by industry antics and for that we have chosen him as our Featured Artist Of The Month.
