Epic The Grand or Epic for short is a Toronto Hip Hop emcee and producer. Growing up in a Jamaican household full of music and culture, Epic was introduced to music from birth. He first launched into the cool vibes and rhythms of Reggae but not too soon after Hip Hop became the genre of music he favoured, taking inspiration from artists like Big L, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Big Pun and Mos Def and R&B groups like Boys 2 Men. Nearly meeting death twice, Epic appreciates the value of life, his music is definitely from the heart and is a true reflection of who he is. Epic brings a fresh flavour to the Canadian Hip Hop scene. His debut LP “Last Symphony: Rehearsal,” is set for release in June, we know the music will be nothing but epic, pun intended and for that we have chosen him as our Featured Artist Of The Month.
