J Soul Listening Session [Review]

Hot on the heels of his recent signing to Cash Money Records, 18 year old Jane St (Toronto) artist “Jeffrey Soul” aka “J Soul” is revving up to make his mark on the music industry. His come up is nothing short of a miracle as he depicts in his “Toronto Plaza Hotel” lyrics – “had no job, no address on the resume” which was literally his reality one year prior to his musical breakthrough.

The Bring Ya Eh Game team got the opportunity to sit in on a listening session where J Soul shared the realest story of his life leading up to being discovered by Birdman, presented the re-release of “November Twelve” dropping “Time”, “Trust”, “Bare Gyal” and “Body” just a few tracks on the album released earlier this week. He also blessed us with previews of some unreleased joints that are rumoured to be delivered to the masses this summer {with several high profile features — but we will leave it at that}.

November Twelve

J Soul’s smooth tones, and catchy hooks laid atop some killer beats will have you flowing like that first sip of Hennessy at the beginning of a long weekend. He is that dope. Do yourself a favour and don’t sleep on this young, heavy hit maker!

We are keeping our eye on this one and expect it to be a monumental summer for J Soul and his team.
